Frisby Neighbourhood Plan

The Frisby Neighbourhood plan is currently undergoing examination. The examiner, Mr John Slater, has decided to hold a public hearing to help him in his examination. Wreake Valley Way rangers scheme

The Oakham and Melton Waterway Society is attending the Parish Council meeting on 12th September 2017. They will update the meeting on their work on the Wreake Valley Way and introduce their Rangers Scheme. We hope as many residents as possible will attend to hear about their work in the area and to hear about the Rangers Scheme.

Melton Borough Council Local Plan Consultation

Melton Borough Council are currently consulting on the focused changes to the plan. The consultation period runs from 13th July to 23rd August. There a series of drop in sessions. There is to be one held in Frisby on 9th August between 4 - 7pm in the Village Hall. (

The section 16 responses to the Neighbourhood Plan can now be viewed on Melton Borough Council's website - The responses and comments are being individually considered by the Parish Council and formal responses will be made in due course.

The Frisby Neighbourhood Plan has now proceeded to the regulation 16 stage. The plan can be viewed online at Or you can borrow hard copy from the shop, the pub, the vicarage or a parish councillor.
